I've always avoided buying these compilations in the past, as there are so many of them and I've always found them a bit hit and miss. Not this one. Absolutely beautiful pieces of music - some of which you will recognise, and some you won't - but all of them incredibly soothing and pleasant to listen to. The inclusion of music from films etc just adds to the variety.

Wow. Im not usually a clasical listener but this blew me away, Some tracks are old friends(Debussey,Grieg) some are new (Newman,Satie,Hess), but all were so soothing. There are some modern pieces but they sound as if they belong, So if you like something quiet and easy to listen too, and you like piano recitals this could be for you.
