I purchased this for my son but have also enjoyed listening to it myself.

The reader has a very good reading voice (nothing at all like Julian Clary as an additional reviewer has suggested) and also does pronounce the names appropriately - he uses the now typically accepted Heracles rather than Hercules and this has confused some consumers.

Tales from greek legends is an exceptional CD for travelling with the youngsters in the automobile. My young children enjoyed listening to the adventures of Zeus and of Heracles. Just after every story we would pause the disc and permit the youngsters to ask concerns and to query the a number of aspects of the tales. It is great for an hours extended journey as it keeps the peace and enables the young children to familarise themselves with these tales and it enables them to look at and question the functions on their own terms and at their own speed.
